{Morning Coffee Quote} Coffee and Kindness

Let's fill our cups with both coffee and kindness today.

{Morning Coffee Quote} Coffee + Tiara = LOVE

I think most days call for heels, something pretty to wear and two or more cups of coffee! But nothing beats coffee AND a tiara! Tiara's make everything better.

Why Breakdowns Are an Essential Step to Reaching a Breakthrough

I've always believed the saying that sometimes we need to hit rock bottom in order to gain clarity and change whatever needs changing in our lives. Take my weight loss journey for example. I was going strong, saw some great results, then started slacking. I knew it was going to catch up to me, but I couldn't stop binging on junk! And this weekend, after not being able to fit into any clothes, and glimpsing myself in the mirror, I had an internal breakdown. How could I let this happen to myself yet again? So frustrating. But I have no one to blame but myself. So today, I choose to breakthrough this health funk and I will reach my fitness goals this year. I can do it. And I know that whatever your challenges are this week, you can breakthrough it too!

{Morning Coffee Quote} Coffee Makes Me Smile

It's never too late for a good coffee quote..it's 9:30 pm and I'm still enjoying a cup before bed!

{Morning Coffee Quote} Sundays Are For Coffee, Friends and Family

This pretty much sums up how I feel about Sunday's. Almost every Sunday my husband and I wake up with the kids and cozy up in bed or in the family room in our pajamas. The kids eat their breakfast and watch cartoons, and hubby and I drink a warm cup of coffee before spending the day with our family. It's the perfect ending to every weekend. Sunday: A day to refuel your soul and be grateful for your blessings. Take a deep breath, and relax. Enjoy your family, friends and your coffee!

{Weekend Read} 12 Tips to Stay Inspired

I came across this really cool list of 12 Tips on Staying Inspired , from Ultralinx.com . What I love about this infographic is that you can use it in different aspects of your life: work, eating healthy, family life, weight loss, living a balanced life etc. It's adaptable and I thought it was a perfect Weekend Read. Personally, I really need to work on number four: plan each day with 3 of the top tasks for that day. YIKES!

{Morning Coffee Quote} Wifi + Coffee + Bed = Saturday Mornings

Wifi + Coffee + Bed = Saturday Mornings .... best day ever...enjoy :)

Law of Attraction Rules: Feeling is Believing

The Law of Attraction says that if you really feel and believe in something, it will manifest. If you really feel and believe that something is rightfully yours - the universe will help you receive it. A parking space near the entrance at the mall, a free coffee, a sale on those really expensive shoes, a new job - the universe is open and just waiting to help us achieve all the things we want.

{Morning Coffee Quote} Benefits of Coffee Infographic

I always knew coffee was uber good for me! Now I have proof with this amazing coffee infographic by LifeHack.org.

Find the Good In Every Person

I think one of the hardest things to grasp about the Law of Attraction (The Secret) is always looking for, or expecting the good and positive in every situation or person, every single day. Something that helps me is to remember these three little tricks: Compliment people Magnify their strengths Don't focus on their weaknesses I think practicing these three things can help us to appreciate the people in our lives, and when we appreciate others and are truly grateful for them, the universe will shower us with more good than bad.

{Morning Coffee Quote} My Morning To-Do List

This pretty much sums up my morning to do list: make coffee, drink coffee, make more coffee, tell everyone how much I love coffee!

My Equality Isn't Up for Debate. Is Yours?

I used to be easily influenced by people and would get really upset if I thought someone didn't like me. But now that I'm older, I realize that you can't please everyone. What really matters is how we feel about ourselves, we can't let others determine our self worth. That's why I love this quote. I'm older. I'm wiser. And if someone doesn't like me for who I am then so be it. I know that my heart is pure and I'm living my authentic truth. That's all that matters. It took a long time to get here - like 30+ years - but I'm so happy that I'm now brave enough to stand up and be an advocate for myself. So remember this quote and repeat after me: When I encounter people who try to make me feel lesser than equal, I don't argue. My quality is not up for debate, it is an implicit truth.

{Morning Coffee Quote} Coffee + Girls = Fun

I'm not too concerned about going out and having fun . . . I'd rather just have coffee!

Be There for a Friend - When Skies are Grey

Recently I had a friend who was going through a really tough time and even though there wasn't anything I could say to make them feel better, I knew that there was something I could do instead. Just be there for them. I love this quote: Be someone's sunshine when their skies are grey.

{Morning Coffee Quote} I Dare You To Take My Coffee Away

This couldn't be more true every morning. I'm serious. Take my coffee away, and see how "nice" I am that day!

A Quote About Greatness

Greatness has no peak. Find your greatness. I love this quote!

On Letting People Dilute or Poison Your Day with Negativity

It's hard sometimes to block out the negative noise around us. Too often I catch myself letting the not-so-nice people in my life consume my thoughts, and it gets me down. The truth is, I can't be responsible for how other's behave, or the negative path they've chosen. I can only be me, and continue to block out the negative noise and choose to live a grateful and positive life. Stop allowing other people to dilute or poison your day with their words or opinions. Stand strong in the truth of your beauty and journey through your day without attachment to the validation of others.  - Dr. Steve Maraboli
